If you haven't been by the Ward Warehouse shop recently, you'll want to stop in next time you're nearby...Naoki Hayashi brought in the largest gyotaku he's ever made so far, and it is just a knockout. With his own artistic magic and love of the sea, Naoki captures an undersea world and brings it to life on rice paper with ink. Here's Naoki and Makena~

Ed Potter's newest 'umeke include some stunning kolohala bowls like nothing we've ever seen before. Some are traditional Hawaiian shapes, and some are more contemporary. Please ask about them, we'd love to hear what you think.
Carl Sherry's also brought us a really outstanding group of beautiful local wooden bowls, including Lychee, Koa, Milo, and a particularly pretty Macadamia nut wood. Mahalo Carl!
Thanks for visiting, and mahalo for supporting the artists of Hawai'i nei~
